Queers At Play

The Queers talk about all the latest news and share their impressions on the PS5 launch (now that Europe finally has it!). They discuss the nominees for the Geoff Keighley Awards and make some predictions about who they think will win. Marc gives us him impressions of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Will chooses which game Reuben will be playing for the next episode's Backlog Bingo.

Next gen is here! The Queers discuss the launch of the Xbox Series S|X and talk about the Dualsense (because that's all that Sony have let us have so far in Europe). We discuss what we learned from Nintendo's latest financials, as well as a host of other small bits of gaming news. Also, Will tells the other Queers what he's made of Fire Emblem: Three Houses in Backlog Bingo and picks a game for Marc to play and feed back on in the next episode.

With the imminent release of the Xbox Series X and the PS5, gaming is about to go where no gamer has gone before. But before we start the next generation, we felt it was appropriate to reflect on the highlights of this generation.

In this bonus episode Marc, Will and Reuben each share their own picks for games of the generation and the Queers discuss just how good it has been.

Over the past two weeks we've had lots of little bits of news, including Nintendo Treehouse news on Pikmin 3 Deluxe and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and more news about the PS5.  In this episode's Backlog Bingo Marc tells the Queers what he thought of NieR: Automata and then picks a game for Reuben to play over the next two weeks.

Tokyo Game Show had a host of exciting game announcements for us to discuss in this fortnight's episode. We also discuss a host of next-gen nonsense, give our thoughts on Steve coming to Super Smash Bros and talk about Microsoft splashing the cash to buy Bethesda . And of course we play more Backlog Bingo! Will shares his view of Doom (2016) and Reuben chooses which game Marc has to play for the next podcast.
